A 25-year-old woman, Deepika Nagar, died after allegedly falling from the roof of her in-laws’ house in Greater Noida’s Jalpura area on Sunday night. Her family alleged she was harassed for dowry and accused her husband and in-laws of murder. The victim’s father claimed he had given Rs 11 lakh cash, gold worth Rs 50 lakh and a Scorpio car during the wedding in December 2024, but the in-laws later demanded Rs 51 lakh and a Fortuner SUV. Police have arrested husband Ritick Tanwar and father-in-law Manoj. Post-mortem examination is underway. (PC: NDTV)
