Fresh claims have emerged in the death case of former model and actor Twisha Sharma, who was found hanging at her husband’s Bhopal home on May 12. Addressing a press conference, Twisha’s mother-in-law Giribala Singh alleged that her parents “pushed her into the glamour world” and later “disowned” her. She also claimed Twisha was undergoing psychiatric treatment and battling substance abuse issues. Twisha’s father, however, accused her husband and in-laws of dowry-related harassment and emotional abuse after marriage. Police are investigating the case, with Twisha’s husband Samarth and mother-in-law facing allegations of murder and dowry harassment. (PC: NDTV)
