An Air India flight travelling from Bengaluru to Delhi triggered a full emergency at Delhi’s IGI Airport after the cockpit crew received a fire warning from one of the aircraft’s engines during final approach. Flight AI2802, carrying 171 passengers aboard an Airbus A320, landed safely on runway 29R around 9:30 pm. Emergency teams were immediately deployed while the aircraft was towed away for inspection. All passengers and crew members disembarked safely without injuries. The airline confirmed that the engine fire indication was genuine and announced a detailed investigation in coordination with aviation authorities.
