Mohinder Singh, co-owner of Kochi’s popular Sethi Da Dhaba restaurant, has become an internet sensation after a Malayalam video celebrating the eatery’s 10th anniversary went viral. Fluent in Malayalam despite his Punjabi roots, Mohinder won praise for embracing Kerala’s culture while serving authentic Punjabi cuisine. The restaurant was started in 2015 with his brother Manjit to fulfil their late mother Satwant Kaur’s dream. Known for chemical-free cooking and traditional recipes, Sethi Da Dhaba has become one of Kochi’s favourite dining spots.
