Debangshu Panda won the Falta Assembly repoll in West Bengal by a margin of 1.09 lakh votes, marking the biggest victory margin in the 2026 state elections. The BJP candidate secured 1,49,666 votes after 22 rounds of counting. CPI(M) candidate Sambhu Nath Kurmi finished second, while Congress candidate Abdur Razzak Molla came third. Trinamool Congress candidate Jahangir Khan finished fourth despite remaining on the ballot after withdrawing from the repoll campaign.
