West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee strongly condemned the alleged attack on TMC national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee in Sonarpur, stating that “he could have died” during the incident. According to TMC leaders, a convoy carrying Abhishek Banerjee was targeted with stones and eggs, resulting in damage to his vehicle and minor injuries. Mamata Banerjee accused BJP workers of orchestrating the attack and called it a serious threat to democratic politics.
