At least 46 people, including six children and three Chinese nationals, were killed after a massive explosion ripped through Kaung Tat village in Myanmar's Shan State near the Chinese border. The blast, which injured at least 74 people, destroyed around 200 homes in Kaung Tat and another 100 in nearby Pan Lone village. The Ta'ang National Liberation Army (TNLA), which controls the area, said explosives stored in a warehouse for mining operations accidentally ignited.
