Virat Kohli said the emergence of young players pushed him to raise his standards after helping Royal Challengers Bengaluru win the IPL 2026 title. Kohli scored an unbeaten 75 as RCB defeated Gujarat Titans by five wickets in the final at Ahmedabad. Without naming teenage sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Kohli said “super young players” had forced him to adapt his mindset and play more aggressively. The 37-year-old also praised RCB’s balanced squad, highlighting contributions from both batters and bowlers throughout the season.
