The BCCI has made a special arrangement for teenage batting sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi by allowing his parents to travel with him during India's upcoming tours. The decision comes after the 15-year-old earned his maiden call-up to the senior T20I squad. According to BCCI secretary Devajit Saikia, the board usually does not permit parents to accompany players, but an exception was made considering Vaibhav's age and the fact that he will be joining an adult national team environment for the first time. The board will bear the expenses of his parents, believing their presence will help the youngster settle into international cricket and provide him with emotional support during a crucial stage of his career.
