7 Indian workers were killed and nine others injured in a road accident on Dubai's Emirates Road on Monday. The workers were travelling in a minibus when it crashed into a truck that had stopped on the road due to a mechanical fault. Dubai Police said preliminary investigations suggest the bus driver failed to maintain a safe distance and collided with the truck from behind. Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident. The Indian Consulate in Dubai expressed condolences and said officials had visited the injured workers in hospital. It is also coordinating with local authorities and affected families.
