The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), a satirical student-led movement, has announced a protest in Pune on June 11. The demonstration will be held at Savitribai Phule Pune University at 4 pm. CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke is demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged irregularities in examinations and recruitment tests. The Pune protest will be the group's second major demonstration after a recent event at Delhi's Jantar Mantar. Dipke said the movement will remain peaceful and independent of political parties.
