The Indian Navy rescued all 24 Indian sailors from the oil tanker MT Marivex after a fire broke out off the coast of Oman on Monday. Navy helicopters carried out the rescue operation and safely evacuated the crew from the burning vessel. The tanker was travelling from Karwar in India to Duqm in Oman and was not carrying any cargo. Officials confirmed that all sailors are safe. Authorities are investigating whether the tanker was hit by a projectile before the fire started. The incident occurred near the Strait of Hormuz, a key global energy route, amid ongoing tensions in the Gulf region.
