A 26-year-old Indian-origin man, Gurbhej Singh, was fatally stabbed in Southall, west London, in the early hours of Wednesday. Metropolitan Police officers and paramedics responded to reports of a stabbing near the junction of North Road and Dormers Wells Lane, where Singh was pronounced dead at the scene. A second injured man was treated in hospital and later discharged. Seven men were arrested on suspicion of murder; six have since been released without further action, while one suspect remains on bail pending further inquiries. Detectives continue to investigate and have appealed for witnesses and CCTV footage. A fundraiser has also been launched to support repatriation and funeral expenses. (PC: X)
