The Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) 2026, scheduled for June 28, has been postponed after authorities uncovered a suspected question paper leak during a police raid in Bhiwandi, Thane district. Officials found material allegedly matching the exam paper, prompting the Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) to defer the test to protect its integrity. A police case has been registered, and an investigation is underway to identify those responsible. More than four lakh candidates have been affected by the postponement. MSCE said a fresh examination date and updated admit cards will be announced after the probe progresses. (PC: The Hindu)
