India has launched Operation Amistad, a humanitarian relief mission to assist earthquake-hit Venezuela following the devastating disaster that has claimed over 1,400 lives. A specially equipped Indian Air Force aircraft carrying National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) personnel, medical teams, rescue equipment, medicines, and essential relief supplies has been dispatched to support ongoing rescue and relief efforts. The mission reflects India's commitment to international humanitarian assistance and disaster response. Indian teams will work alongside Venezuelan authorities to provide emergency medical care, search-and-rescue support, and aid to affected communities as recovery operations continue in the quake-stricken nation.
