Prime Minister Narendra Modi was conferred the **'Guardian of the Blue Horizon'**, Seychelles' highest national honour, during his state visit to the island nation. The award was presented by Seychelles President Patrick Herminie in recognition of Modi's leadership in environmental conservation, sustainable development, climate action and the Blue Economy. Accepting the honour, Modi dedicated it to all countries working to combat climate change and promote sustainable growth. India and Seychelles also reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation in maritime security, ocean governance and regional development, while signing several agreements to deepen bilateral ties.
