Arunachal Flood Death Toll Rises to 3 as IMD Warns of Heavy Rain and More Flood Risk

The death toll from flash floods in Arunachal Pradesh's Keyi Panyor district has risen to three after rescuers recovered another body on Sunday. Two people are still missing, and search operations have entered the fifth day. Teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) are continuing rescue work. Floods have damaged homes, roads, bridges and power facilities in several districts. Relief materials are being sent to affected areas. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned of more than 200 mm of rain in the next 24 hours. People have been advised to stay alert and remain safe.
