US President Donald Trump on Wednesday warned that the United States would "hit them hard tonight" after declaring the ceasefire agreement with Iran "over." Speaking at the NATO summit in Ankara, Trump accused Tehran of violating the understanding reached to halt hostilities and said he no longer believed further negotiations would work. His remarks came after the US launched fresh strikes on more than 80 Iranian military targets in response to attacks on commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz.
