The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has urged people to stay indoors as a "massive rain event" continues across Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad and Gurugram. Heavy rainfall has caused widespread waterlogging, traffic congestion and disruptions to daily life across the National Capital Region. The IMD has issued red and orange alerts for several areas, warning that some places could receive up to 200 mm of rainfall within 24 hours. Authorities have advised residents to avoid unnecessary travel and remain alert. Airlines have also warned passengers of possible flight delays due to adverse weather conditions. (PC: HT)
