The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) on Monday claimed a major breakthrough in its ongoing Jantar Mantar protest, announcing that the government had agreed to hold talks with protesters after 30 days of agitation. CJP leader Ashutosh Ranka told supporters that the movement had pushed the administration to the negotiating table, while reiterating that the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan remained the key demand. The announcement came amid heightened security in Delhi, with police deploying RAF personnel, Vajra vans and barricades ahead of the proposed Parliament march.
