More people joined the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest at Jantar Mantar a day after clashes between protesters and police. Many students and supporters said they came after seeing videos of the police action on social media. Several protesters showed injuries they claimed were caused during the July 20 clashes. They continued to demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and reforms in the examination system. Some protesters also claimed outsiders added to the violence, but these claims could not be independently verified. Delhi Police said many officers were also injured during the clashes.
