The Centre has renewed its offer to hold talks with the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) and student protesters, saying discussions can take place “at your convenience, any time.” Union Minister Jitendra Singh said the government had sent four formal proposals since Wednesday and that he and Union Minister JP Nadda were ready to discuss all demands. However, the CJP rejected the invitation to meet at Nadda’s office or residence, insisting talks be held at Jantar Mantar or a neutral venue. The group also sought assurances against fresh FIRs or action against peaceful protesters before any dialogue begins. (PC: NDTV)
