Pradhan quit as education minister on Saturday, after weeks of protests over NEET-UG exam irregularities. Celebrations broke out at Jantar Mantar, with students and CJP leader Dipke seen rejoicing. In his resignation letter, Pradhan said he took moral responsibility for the exam crisis. He said his government had acted quickly, involving the CBI and holding a fresh exam. He added that some people had tried to mislead students, calling it deeply painful.
