Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigned on Saturday amid weeks of nationwide protests over the NEET-UG paper leak and education irregularities, saying he accepted moral responsibility for the crisis. In his resignation letter, Pradhan said stepping down was necessary to prevent “anti-national forces” from exploiting the situation and creating confusion.
