Hockey India has unveiled a new saffron jersey for the Indian men's and women's teams ahead of the Hockey World Cup 2026. The new home kit replaces the traditional blue jersey and features mandala-inspired patterns with tricolour details. Hockey India said the colour "symbolises courage, sacrifice and victory" and is inspired by the Indian flag and the rising sun. The tournament will be held in the Netherlands and Belgium from August 14 to 30. India men's team will begin its campaign against Wales on August 15, while the women's team will face China on August 16.
