A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court seeking a ban on the use of pellet guns for crowd control by law enforcement agencies after the July 20 protest in Delhi. The plea was filed by retired Intelligence Bureau Special Director Yashovardhan Azad along with two people who said they were injured by pellets during the protest.
