The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has summoned Meta's global head of public policy after Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Facebook post on action against paper leaks was removed from the platform. The video, posted on July 23 during the Cockroach Janta Party's student protests, outlined the government's commitment to stricter measures against exam paper leaks. According to sources, the ministry sought an explanation from Meta over the incident. Meta said the post was removed "in error" and has since been restored. The company apologised for the mistake while the government continues to examine the matter.
