Jammu and Kashmir has witnessed a renewed surge in terrorist violence, with three people killed in two separate attacks over the past 10 days despite heightened security measures. The first incident saw J&K Police Head Constable Aashiq Hussain Qureshi killed in Anantnag, marking the Valley's first major terror attack since the 2025 Pahalgam massacre. In the latest attack, terrorists targeted migrant labourers at a brick kiln in Kulgam, killing two workers from Chhattisgarh and injuring another. Security forces have launched intensive search operations as concerns grow over the resurgence of targeted attacks in the region. (PC: ANI)
