India secured a double podium finish in the men's triple jump at the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow as Praveen Chithravel claimed silver with a best leap of 16.58m and Selva Prabhu Thirumaran took bronze with 16.52m. Jamaica's Jordon Scott won gold after producing the competition's best jump of 16.72m, while Australia's Ethan Olivier narrowly missed the podium with 16.50m. Notably, none of the top four athletes recorded either a personal best or season best. This marks the second consecutive Commonwealth Games where India has won two medals in men's triple jump, following Eldhose Paul and Abdulla Aboobacker's historic gold-silver finish at Birmingham 2022.
