At least 3 people were killed and 21 others injured after a homemade explosive device detonated outside the Balzi Rossi Italian restaurant in central Moscow on Saturday evening. Russian authorities said a woman carrying the device was stopped by a security guard before it exploded, killing the woman, the guard and a visitor. The restaurant was hosting a private event at the time. Officials have not identified the intended target or confirmed a motive. Security forces sealed off the area and launched an investigation.
