Commonwealth Games 2026 medallists, led by Olympic champion Mirabai Chanu and weightlifter Lovepreet Singh, received a warm welcome at Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport after returning from Birmingham. Hundreds of fans gathered to celebrate their achievements. Mirabai won her third consecutive Commonwealth Games gold in the women's 49kg category, while Lovepreet claimed silver in the men's +110kg event. Bronze medallist Bindyarani Devi and silver medallist Rishikanta Singh also thanked supporters for the reception.
