India’s athletics team delivered its best-ever Commonwealth Games track and field campaign in Glasgow, winning 10 medals and showing strength beyond Olympic champion Neeraj Chopra. Gulveer Singh made history by becoming the first Indian track and field athlete to win 2 individual medals at a single CWG, claiming silver in the 10,000m and bronze in the 5,000m. India also earned medals through Sarvesh Kushare, Murali Sreeshankar, Praveen Chithravel, Tejaswin Shankar, Seema Kaliramna, Yash Vir Singh, Selva Prabhu Thirumaran and Neeraj Chopra.
