The Hindu American Foundation has issued a security advisory ahead of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s August 29 event at Madison Square Garden in New York. The group urged New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani to ensure the safety and civil rights of all attendees, asking the community to remain vigilant amid attempts by activists to disrupt the event. Mamdani has said he opposes the gathering but does not know whether the city has the authority to cancel a private event.
