Devastating flash floods in Nepal and Tibet have killed 175 people, with nearly 1,500 others reported missing, including around 300 Indians, Nepal Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal said. The disaster struck after a possible avalanche blocked a Himalayan tributary, sending torrents of water and debris through several districts. Roads, bridges, homes and hydropower projects have suffered major damage. More than 5,000 army and police personnel are involved in rescue operations. India has stepped up relief efforts, sending emergency supplies, medicines and food to Nepal as authorities continue searching for survivors. (PC: India Today)
