4 Indian nationals have been rescued from the Rasuwa hydropower project in flood-hit Nepal, India’s Ministry of External Affairs said on Saturday. The rescue comes as search operations continue for 287 Indians still missing after the devastating floods near Nepal’s border with China. The death toll in Nepal has risen to 675, according to the country’s disaster management authority. Floods have destroyed roads and bridges, making rescue operations difficult. India has sent an 11-member medical and tunnel rescue team to Kathmandu to assist Nepalese authorities as relief efforts continue. (PC: X)
