Infosys Public Services CEO Lax Gopisetty is currently unreachable after devastating floods struck Nepal, where he was visiting in a personal capacity, the IT company said on Friday. The floods have killed at least 626 people, while 2,426 others remain unaccounted for, according to Nepal’s disaster management authority. More than 4,400 people have been rescued. Infosys said it was working with relevant agencies to establish contact with Gopisetty and remained in close touch with his family, providing all necessary support. The company said its immediate priority was Gopisetty’s safety and wellbeing amid the massive disaster. (PC: business line)
