Delhi schools are gearing up to resume physical classes on January 15, following an extended winter break. In response to the prevalent dense fog, authorities have mandated that no classes will commence before 9am or extend beyond 5pm. The decision aims to ensure the safety of students amid the challenging weather conditions. Despite the winter break extension until January 12, the drop in temperature, reaching a minimum of 3.5 degrees Celsius on Sunday, prompted the need for continued precautions. Teaching and non-teaching staff are expected to report for duty as usual. The foggy conditions are anticipated to persist until January 20, according to the India Meteorological Department.
