Rabya Khan, mother of late actor Jiah Khan, has spoken after Sooraj Pancholi’s name appeared in the CBI FIR linked to Disha Salian’s death. “Disha deserves the truth, just as Jiah did,” she wrote on social media. Rabya questioned how crucial evidence was handled in both cases. She claimed lost or destroyed evidence could make a fresh investigation harder. She also questioned whether the alleged abetment in Jiah’s case was properly investigated. Jiah was found dead in 2013, and her death was investigated as suicide. Sooraj Pancholi was acquitted in 2023 due to lack of evidence.
