US President Donald Trump said the United States and China conduct espionage against each other, ahead of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s planned visit to Washington. Speaking to reporters, Trump said, “China spies on us and we spy on them too,” while indicating that he would discuss a wide range of issues with Xi. The remarks come amid tensions over China’s alleged intelligence and satellite activities linked to Iran.
