Asian Games-bound Indian cricketer Vipraj Nigam is facing allegations of sexual assault and exploitation under the pretext of marriage by a Hyderabad-based woman. She alleged that Nigam took her to a Noida hotel on July 29, 2025, where he raped and assaulted her; a case was registered on December 16, 2025. On Sunday, she reportedly waited outside Nigam’s home for hours, seeking to meet him while he was in Japan. Nigam’s father spoke to her by phone, promising they would talk after a week.
