Gautam Adani and his family have reclaimed the top position on the M3M Hurun India Rich List 2026, with wealth estimated at ₹9.22 lakh crore, surpassing Mukesh Ambani and family at ₹8.63 lakh crore. Adani’s wealth increased by about 13% from last year, while Ambani’s declined by around 10%. Lakshmi Niwas Mittal and family ranked third with ₹3.39 lakh crore. The latest list includes 1,810 individuals with wealth of at least ₹1,000 crore, while India’s dollar-billionaire count reached a record 391. The report also highlights rapid wealth creation in artificial intelligence and other emerging sectors. (PC: PTI)
