India enjoyed a productive fourth day at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games 2026, adding four medals to its tally. Mirabai Chanu won silver in the women’s 49kg weightlifting final, ending India’s 28-year wait for an Asian Games weightlifting medal. Jay Meena secured India’s first-ever Asian Games medal in soft tennis with a historic bronze. India also won bronze medals in both men’s and women’s team skeet shooting.
