India’s PV Sindhu criticised the badminton schedule at the 2026 Asian Games after playing three matches within 24 hours before losing her women’s singles quarter-final to China’s Chen Yufei. Sindhu lost 11-21, 21-18, 10-21 after returning to the court less than 12 hours after her previous match. She said players needed more time to recover physically. Sindhu also expressed disappointment over the absence of Hawk-Eye review cameras on Court 4, saying some line calls were close.
