Indian boxer Lovlina Borgohain reached the women’s 75kg final at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya after defeating Kazakhstan’s Natalya Bogdanova 3-2 in a closely contested semifinal. The victory made Lovlina the first Indian woman boxer to reach two Asian Games finals. She overcame the reigning 70kg world champion in a split decision after a strong comeback during the bout. Lovlina, who won silver at the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games, is now assured of at least another silver medal and will fight for gold on October 2.
