India defeated Pakistan by 19 runs in the men’s cricket final at the Asian Games 2026 in Nisshin on Saturday to retain their gold medal. India posted 211/6 after Abhishek Sharma smashed 61 off 28 balls, while Tilak Varma remained unbeaten on 51 off 22. Shivam Dube added 27 off 14 balls. Pakistan managed 192/6 in 20 overs, with Hasan Nawaz scoring a fighting 96 off 51 balls. Washington Sundar, Axar Patel and Dube took 2 wickets each for India.
