Veteran actor Nana Patekar messaged a friend around 2:30 am saying he was “not feeling well,” shortly before suffering a cardiac arrest at his Goa residence. The friend saw the message around 4 am and rushed to Patekar’s Dona Paula apartment, where 75-year-old actor was found unconscious. A medical team arrived after the caretaker contacted the hospital and began CPR at home, continuing treatment in the ambulance. Patekar was taken to Manipal Hospital, where doctors continued resuscitation for around 45 minutes but could not revive him. He was declared dead at 5:20 am, according to ANI. Doctors said the exact underlying cause remained unknown and his body was sent for post-mortem. (PC: Times Now)
