US President Donald Trump has called for Ukraine to get a new president after Volodymyr Zelensky criticised a diesel deal with Russia. Trump accused Zelensky of creating problems and urged him to stop attacks on Russian oil refineries. Zelensky warned that the deal would give Moscow more money to continue the war. Under the agreement, Russia will supply millions of tonnes of diesel to global markets, including the US. The deal temporarily suspends sanctions on Russian diesel exports. European Union officials also criticised the move, saying it could help fund Russia’s war. Ukraine remains under martial law, which suspends elections.
