IndiGo has cancelled all flights to and from Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Madinah until October 17 due to the evolving situation in Saudi Arabia. In an advisory on Tuesday, the airline urged passengers to check their flight status on its website before leaving for the airport. IndiGo said it was sharing updates through the contact details provided during booking and that its support teams remained available to assist passengers. The cancellations come after Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport suspended operations following security concerns linked to attacks claimed by Yemen’s Houthi group. Saudi authorities said the closure was intended to ensure airport safety. (PC: HT)
