An Air India flight from Frankfurt to Delhi was diverted to Jaipur on Wednesday after the aircraft transmitted a hijack alert. Flight AI2030, carrying 293 passengers and 13 crew members, landed safely in Jaipur around 9.30 am. Passengers were asked to disembark and undergo security checks before boarding again. The aircraft later reached Delhi around 3.15 pm. Air India said security agencies had cleared the aircraft and crew after necessary checks. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation will investigate the alert, which officials suspect may have resulted from a technical glitch.
