Around 80 Delhi Police personnel protested outside the force's headquarters on Monday, opposing the transfer of 2 officers following a clash with lawyers at Shahdara police station. The transferred officers are ACP Manasvi Vashishta and Inspector Arun Kumar, the station house officer. The transfers followed an October 23 incident in which advocate Lalit Bansal allegedly suffered a serious head injury during a scuffle. The incident triggered an indefinite strike by lawyers across Delhi's district courts, which ended after the transfers. The protesting personnel demanded a meeting with Police Commissioner Anurag Kumar to discuss the action against their colleagues.
